Upon instruction from my Government, I have the honour to attach herewith a list clarifying the numbers of civilian casualties and injuries resulting from mortar shells and explosive device attacks committed by terrorist armed groups in Syria in the period from 22 December 2016 to 21 January 2017 (see annex).
It would be highly appreciated if the present letter and its annex could be circulated as a document of the Security Council.
