Identical letters dated 12 May 2016 from the Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council

Upon instruction from my Government, I would like to draw your kind attention to the attached information regarding some terrorist attacks and the mortar shells and rockets launched by terrorist groups against civilian populated areas during the period from 2 to 5 May 2016, which left many civilians dead or injured and resulted in damages to public and private properties (see annex).

It would be highly appreciated if the present letter and its annex could be circulated as a document of the Security Council.
