Letter dated 31 August 2016 from the Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary-General

In reference to the note verbale dated 8 August 2016, and its attachment, from the Permanent Mission of the Syrian Arabic Republic, and upon instructions from my Government, I have the honour to transmit herewith (see annex) a list of names of the civilian casualties, killed and injured, that resulted from the terrorist attack carried out by a terrorist armed group that used toxic shells in the city of Aleppo, Al Awamid district, in the Old City, on 2 August 2016.

It would be highly appreciated if the present letter and its annex could be circulated as a document of the Security Council.
