Russian Air Force unleashes flurry of airstrikes over Idlib
Following their attacks on southwestern Aleppo, the Russian Air Force shifted their attention, tonight, to the Idlib Governorate, where they carried out a flurry of airstrikes against the jihadist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest).
Russian Su-24 and Su-25 fighter jets reportedly struck Jaysh Al-Fateh's positions at the villages of Binnish and Ariha, killing and wounding scores of jihadist militants in rural Idlib.
According to opposition activists, at least 20 Turkistani fighters that are part of the Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP) were killed by the Russian airstrikes tonight, with many more buried under the rubble.
Russian fighter jets also attacked the Arbaeen Mountains of western Idlib, scoring direct hits on a number of Jaysh Al-Fateh targets.
The Russian Air Force is still carrying out airstrikes at the moment, attacking more jihadist points near the Latakia Governorate border.
