High ranking ISIS commander killed in Raqqa
The Pentagon alleged on Friday that their air force carried out the the airstrike that killed the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham's (ISIS) Minister of Information in the Al-Raqqa Governorate.
According to the Pentagon, a U.S.-led Coalition airstrike over Raqqa City killed Wa'el 'Adel Hassan Salman Al-Fayad of the Islamic State.
ISIS typically announces the death of their prominent fighters and commanders; however, their official media wing "Al-Amaq" has yet to issue a statement.
If the Islamic State's Information Minister is in fact dead, he will be the third high ranking member of the terrorist group's central command to be killed this year.
