Syrian Army recaptures Palmyra Grain Silos

After hours of intense clashes on the eastern outskirts of ancient city of Palmyra, the Syrian Armed Forces were able to recapture the Palmyra Grain Silos which had been lost to the terror two weeks ago.

Granted, Islamic State terrorists remain dangerously close to the historic city from the southern flank as seen in pictures taken by the terror group's media wing. This development creates a vital buffer zone on the city's eastern flank and sets up for a potential advance on the nearby Arak.
