Russian, Syrian air forces conduct 35 sorties over southern Aleppo
The Syrian and Russian air forces conducted 35 sorties over the southern Aleppo countryside on Sunday, targeting the Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) jihadists at several sites inside and outside the provincial capital.
A military source told Al-Masdar News on Sunday morning that the Syrian and Russian air forces specifically targeted Jaysh Al-Fateh's positions at the Hikmah School, Al-Ramouseh Roundabout, Aleppo Artillery Academy, Al-'Amariyah District, and Al-Qarassi village.
Al-Qarassi village was arguably the most prevalent target for the Syrian and Russian air forces, due to the ongoing battle between the Syrian Armed Forces and Jaysh Al-Fateh jihadists.
Despite the fact the Syrian Armed Forces repelled the Jaysh Al-Fateh counter-offensive in southern Aleppo this morning, the Russian and Syrian air forces have yet to let up their attack against the jihadist rebels.
