Syrian Army recaptures checkpoint in north Homs

Jabhat Al-Nusra and Ahrar Al-Sham's media sources claimed that they have foiled a major Syrian Army offensive in north Homs following intense clashes north of Zara.

In reality, the National Defense Forces (NDF) launched a minor offensive to recapture the Poultry checkpoint south of the powerplant. The checkpoint was captured by Ahrar Al-Sham about a week ago in a battle dubbed "Today is your day Aleppo".

Following intense artillery shelling and some SyAAF airstrikes, the NDF succeeded in recapturing the point killing and injuring several jihadists.
