Syrian Army continues advance in eastern Ghouta

---

After capturing the eastern neighborhoods of the jihadist stronghold of Mayda'a, the Syrian Army advanced on Mayda'a from Bahariya in the south.

In the process, the Syrian Army captured 800m of farms between the two towns killing and injuring dozens of rebels. If the Syrian Army is able to fortify the farm area seized, the jihadists would have no choice but to concede the town as their positions would be under the fire control of the advancing Syrian troops.
