Syrian Army liberates Tal Barakat in northern Sweida

---

The Syrian Arab Army's 5th Armored Division, alongside the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) and National Defense Forces (NDF) - imposed full control over the large hilltop of Tal Barakat in the Al-Sweida Governorate's northern countryside on Friday.

Tal Barakat was liberated by the Syrian Armed Forces after they launched a powerful counter-assault against the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) terrorists that were attempting to push west towards the Khalkhalah Military Airport near the Dara'a Governorate.

Recently, ISIS has attempted to advance from Tal Barakat to the northwestern countryside of the Al-Sweida Governorate; however, they were unable to make any headway due to the Syrian Army's resistance.
