Jabhat al-Nusra groups disrupt truce in Syria - reconciliation center

Groups constituting the international terrorist organization Jabhat al-Nusra are continuing combat operations with the aim of disrupting truce in Syria, as follows from a news bulletin issued by the Russian center for the reconciliation of warring parties in Syria. The news release has been published on the Russian Defense Ministry's website.

"Over the past twenty four hours there have been mortar attacks against Al-Zahra and Al-Meyser neighborhoods and the al-Nayrab airport in Aleppo. Multiple rocket launchers twice attacked the Sheikh Makhsoud quarter.

North-west of Aleppo Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists mounted a mortar attack and then attempted an offensive against Syrian army positions in the area of Khandrat.

"All of the attacks were repelled," the news bulletin runs.

In Homs Province, government troops gained control of two strategic heights after a clash with terrorists of the Islamic State (outlawed in Russia).
