ISIS terrorists die in droves at Deir Ezzor Military Airport

On Tuesday afternoon, the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) conducted its 3rd offensive at the strategic Deir Ezzor Military Airport, attacking the Syrian Arab Army's first line of defense at the southeastern perimeter of this large military installation in eastern Syria.

ISIS began their assault by launching multiple VBIEDs (vehicle borne improvised explosive device) in the direction of the guard tower at the northern farms of Al-Muri'iyah; however, all of the VBIEDs failed to reach their intended destinations, thanks in large part to the alert soldiers protecting the checkpoints around the military installation.

Following the VBIED attacks, several ISIS fighters charged the Syrian Arab Army's defenses in the wide-open fields of the Al-Muri'iyah Farms; this resulted in heavy losses for the terrorist group, including Abu Sayyaf Al-Leebi (Libyan) and a number of other foreigners from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Chechnya, and Kuwait.

With several waves of terrorists failing to bypass the Syrian Armed Forces' defenses in Al-Muri'iyah, the ISIS Central Command finally withdrew their remaining fighters in order to avoid adding to their growing casualty list.

While ISIS was busy attacking the Syrian Army's defenses at the Deir Ezzor Military Airport, the Russian Air Force took it upon themselves to devastate several sites belonging to the terrorist group.

Among the Russian Air Force's primary targets on Wednesday were the Political Bridge, the Sugar Factory, Abukamaal, Al-Mayadeen, and Ayyash.
