Jaysh al-Islam and Ahrar ash-Sham must be included in the list of terrorist organizations and excluded from participating in the process of the political settlement in Syria, Oleg Syromolotov, a Russian deputy foreign minister, told TASS on Thursday.
According to the Russian diplomat, the work on the list of terrorist organizations in Syria continued.
"This work is inseparable from the efforts aimed at launching and maintaining of the Syrian political settlement process and terrorists have no place in this process," Syromolotov said in an interview with TASS.
"We strongly believe that the organizations at the issue must be included in the final variant of the list since they are incapable of contributing to the achievement of the general political tasks in Syria," the diplomat said.
