Syria air force raids Lebanese border town
The Syrian air force raided Saturday the east Lebanon's town of Arsal in the Bekaa region, targeting the Al-Rahwa area, the National News Agency reported.
The Red Cross ambulances have transported the five wounded to the Farhat hospital in the west Bekaa's Jib Janine town, the report said.
Arsal with a Sunni majority shares a 50 km border with Syria and has been a crossing point for gunmen and ammunition backing the rebels against Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Arsal has around 40,000 residents and hosts more than 100,000 Syrian refugees.
