Omer Çelik: "If threatening situation is created for Turkey, our military intervention into Syria will be inevitable"
"PKK cooperates with al-Assad regime, if any organization is established on our border with participation of PKK, we will make military intervention"
Baku-APA. "If threatening situation is created in Northern Syria for Turkey or the separatist regime with the participation of PKK is established, Ankara will consider the military intervention into the region", said deputy chairman of AKP Omer Çelik, APA reports.
"We also protect the rights of the Kurds in Syria, but we won't give an opportunity for presence of any terrorist activity there. We don't recommend taking steps towards the creation of any threatening situation for Turkey".
Omer Çelik said that nobody wants Turkey's military intervention into Syria: "The issue on military intervention has been put into agenda for many times up to date. No country wants to make military intervention into neighbor country. Al-Assad distributes weapon, PYD and PKK cooperate with al-Assad regime.
PKK didn't demonstrate any position against as-Assad's separatist regime up to date. Especially PKK openly cooperates with al-Assad regime in Afsin and Kobali regions. This is one of the pressure mechanisms of al-Assad regime against Turkey.
They want to realize this mechanism with assistance of PKK. But if the threatening situation is created against Turkey, if any organization is established on our border with participation of PKK, the military intervention into Syria will be inevitable"
