Syrian army finds Israeli military vehicle in Qussair city: report
The Syrian army said on Monday that it found an Israeli military vehicle during its wide-scale attack in the central city of al-Qussair, the state media reported.
According to the report, the vehicle was found along with tapping and jamming devices in al-Qussair where the Syrian army have reportedly taken full control over the entire eastern part of the strategic city near the borders with Lebanon.
The state-run SANA news agency and the state-TV ran footage of the vehicle, reiterating the government's accusation that the latest Israeli raid against Damascus aimed at weakening the abilities of the Syrian army and giving a hand to rebels in al- Qussair and elsewhere in the country.
They said that the discovery proves that the Free Army and the al-Qaida-linked Nusra Front are "just titles for an entity that is being led by Israel, Turkey and Qatar."
The Syrian army started the operation in al-Qussair city 46 days ago to regain control of the city.
Earlier in the day, the state media in Syria said the army was still advancing in the strategic city and took full control over its eastern part.
The rebels in al-Qussair have been buoyed by Salafi groups in Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli and Ersal. The Syrian government has recently warned that it would not waver in responding to the armed groups which are moving in an out between Syria and Lebanon.
Over the past two days, clashes between supporters of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Sunni Muslim fighters raged in Lebanon's Tripoli on the heels of the Syrian troops operation in al-Qussair. On Monday, three people were killed and more than 40 others were reportedly wounded in the ongoing clashes.
