Ukraine transfers new prepayment for Russian gas supplies

Ukraine's Naftogaz has transferred $15 million as advance payment for gas supplies to Russia's gas giant Gazprom, Naftogaz told TASS on Tuesday.

"Naftogaz's funds are still on the transit account. We expect to get it during the day. But haven't yet received anything," a representative of Gazprom told TASS.

Russian gas supplies to Ukraine currently amount to 10 mln cubic meters per day.
