Moscow slams NATO's reported decision to cut personnel of Russian mission
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexey Meshkov said on Friday NATO's move to cut the size of Russia's diplomatic mission at the alliance brought to mind some decisions taken back during the Cold War era.
"This decision is very strange and smacks strongly of the Cold War days," he said.
According to some Western media reports, NATO decided to reduce Russian personnel at the alliance's headquarters from 50 to 30. Russian diplomats are expected to leave Brussels within months. The information has not been officially confirmed yet.
