Progress MS-20 spacecraft carrying equipment, 3D printer and a guitar docks the ISS

The Progress MS-20 cargo spacecraft, launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome Friday, docked to the Zvezda module of the International Space Station (ISS) Russian segment.

The spacecraft docked in automatic mode. The process was supervised by RKA Mission Control Center specialists on Earth and cosmonauts Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveyev and Sergey Korsakov aboard the station.

The Soyuz-2.1a rocket carrying the Progress MS-20 was launched from launch pad number 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The rocket's second stage was adorned with "Donbass" caption, while the nose cone was decorated with flags of Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.

The spacecraft delivered 2,500 kilograms of cargo to the ISS, including 599 kilograms of fuel, 420 liters of water, 40 kilogram of compressed nitrogen and about 1,458 kilograms of various equipment and materials, medical control equipment, sanitary and hygienic supplies, clothes, standard food rations and fresh food products for the crew. The spacecraft also delivered a 3D printer, a miniature electric guitar and violin strings.
