US troops make fresh incursion into Lowara Mandi.
Least deterred by protest Pakistan lodged against US over its erstwhile incursions into Pakistan’s territory, US troops Friday crossed into Lowara Mandi.
The fresh incursion by US into the said territory is fifth consecutive intrusion by US into the country’s territorial jurisdictions.
It merits mentioning here that this time around it was twice in the same day when US troops violated Pakistani borderlines and entered Lowara Mandi.
The US incursion clearly speaks that US has no concern about Pakistan’s sovereignty.
The reports reached here have revealed that on Friday afternoon some 20 US troops topped on four Humvee and two armored vehicles reached Tochi Scouts (Frontier Constabulary) check post and attempted to enter Pakistani territory but FC men after negotiations persuaded US troops to go back to their posts in Afghanistan.
US troops, who seemed to be on ‘something special’ made another attempt and managed to enter Lowara Mandi two hours later. They (US troops) remained in the area for sometime and carried out their search in main Bazar (main market).
Some local tribesmen informed the FC camp personnel, prompting Captain Nasir and FC personnel to reach the scene.
Captain Nasir forced US troops to go back to Afghanistan, however, the ceaseless US incursions seem to continue.
The locals of the area have expressed resentment against the US consecutive incursions and demanded of the government to take notice of the grave situation.
