UN chief says "shocked" by attack on aid flotilla
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said here on Monday that he was "shocked" by the Israeli attack on the aid flotilla heading for Gaza.
The UN chief, who opened here the meeting of the International Criminal court (ICT) early in the day, said "I am shocked by reports of killings and injuries of people on boats carrying supplies for Gaza."
Ban told the reporters that he condemns the violent action.
Israeli forces on Monday attacked the international convoy of aid ships when trying to stop the flotilla from reaching Gaza, killing up to 19 and wounding more than 30 others, reports reaching here said.
