Regular flights to link Vladivostok with Seoul, Pusan and Hong Kong

The Avrora carrier, set up on the basis of two Far Eastern airline companies, has opened regular flights from Vladivostok to Seoul, Busan and Hong Kong, sources from the department for industry and transport of Far Eastern Primorye told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

Flights from Vladivostok to Pusan and Hong Kong are made twice a week, while flights connecting Vladivostok with Seoul are made six times a week.

Avrora was set up on the basis of two Far Eastern carriers -- Sakhalinskie Aviatrassy and Vladivostok Avia, part of Aeroflot Group since 2011. The main aim of the carrier is to contribute to social and economic development of the Far Eastern region through more efficient and affordable passenger flights.

The first flight from Vladivostok operated by Avrora was made on November 14 to Magadan. At the present time carrier's flights cover Far Eastern cities as well as Siberian Irkutsk, Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk.

The plane park consists of 15 aircraft, and shortly an Airbus A319 will be added to it. Company plans are to increase the number of flights to 534 by 2018, while the number of destinations is to grow to 128.
